The Challenge
The initial phase of our collaboration involved in-depth research and extensive discussions with the Infosys team to ascertain the specific data points essential for user access on the Exelon platform. Through a meticulous exploration, we identified the user’s key needs and preferences, laying the groundwork for an efficient and streamlined user experience.
The Approach
Subsequently, we seamlessly transitioned into the application of the triple diamond method in our UX project. This method, comprising three stages of Discover, Define, and Develop, allows us to holistically address user needs. The Discovery phase involved uncovering insights, the Definition phase refined these insights into clear design goals, and the Development phase brought these goals to life through a user-centric and intuitive platform. This comprehensive approach ensures that the Exelon platform not only meets but exceeds user expectations, fostering a seamless and engaging experience.
The Impact
The culmination of this project manifests in a fully realized prototype of the Exelon platform, specifically designed for a Proof of Concept (POC). This prototype intricately maps out the end-to-end journey of the user, providing a comprehensive visualization of the platform’s functionality from A to Z.
This tangible prototype serves as a powerful tool, enabling the company to assess and evaluate the platform’s feasibility and effectiveness before committing to full-scale backend development. Essentially, it acts as a prelude, offering a firsthand glimpse into the user experience and functionality, aiding in informed decision-making on whether it aligns with the company’s optimal vision.
